On Mark Cuban, the NBA, and the National Anthem

There’s nothing that turns my stomach quite like a billionaire (Mark Cuban) refusing to play the National Anthem, in order to protect the feelings of millionaires (his players). All of the aforementioned people have thrived in our capitalist, free, constitutional republic. Whatever their upbringings, their cultures, or their skin color, they have all accomplished incredible things, thanks to the United States of America and the opportunities that our society has afforded them. I commend the National Basketball Association on ruling that the Dallas Mavericks must play the National Anthem and for continuing to uphold their policy that all players, coaches, and trainers must stand while it is played. God Bless America!
